Back to School

Well, it’s officially that time of the year, where we hustle to get everything for our kiddos before school starts. This year my oldest will be entering the sixth grade, and my youngest will be entering the fourth grade. I’m sad because this will be the last year for elementary for my oldest. Gosh, time sure does fly by!

Although my kids are homeschooled, they still need a lot of school supplies.

I always start off with the supplies they will use on a daily basis, such as: erasers, paper, printing paper, pencils, and ink. We already had a printer, and I actually really love our printer, it does everything we need for printing at home. The printer we had before, would use so much ink and this printer, I only have to buy ink maybe once a year!!

In my blog post before this one, I mentioned how I gave our school room a refresh and one thing that I changed was my printer stand too. I couldn’t find the exact printer stand in stock. but here is a similar one. I like this printer stand because it has three shelves which hold our printer, paper stand and some files.

A few more items to add to our supplies, are highlighters and binders! I try to keep my kids’ curriculum as organized as possible.

As a homeschool Mom, a planner is essential to follow a tight schedule. It also helps with notes and memos for myself!

Lastly, my youngest son still likes to draw and do crafts, so crayons and markers are great to always have on hand along with cardstock, and construction paper.

For reference, my HP computer in the picture, is still available and it’s a pretty good size for kids and even I like it for myself :), however, I use a Macbook Pro, which I absolutely LOVE. This one is a big investment but it’s perfect for me since I do a lot of my designs on the MacBook Pro.

My list can go on forever, but these are the basics and something we use daily. If you have any questions about homeschool or curricula suggestions, please don’t shy away from asking!

Wishing you all a wonderful 2024/2025 school year!
